Two months ago, I brought my Valentino’s here because of the positive reviews. I had to fix one heel and add sole protectors. Sadly, the heels were returned to me in a condition that I did not expect. There was noticeable damage on the front and sides of the patent leather. The old worker there accused me and said they were already like that. The surface of the damage is very even and sharp like a clean cut. I believe they did not protect the heels properly when they used their machine to trim the sole protectors. These are expensive heels.Then, I dealt with the owner Alex, who was very friendly and nice. He apologized on behalf of his worker, who was rude and unapologetic. Alex somewhat made the heels look better but you can still see the cut and the surface damage on the front and sides of the patent leather. He gave me a discount and tried his best to make me feel better about the imperfections but once again, my heels were not like that when I brought them in.I gave two stars because overall, the job on the soles and back of the heel was okay. However, I will not come back, especially if I need to have expensive, luxury or like new items repaired.

I brought my pair of yeezy shoes to clean and Alex made them like brand new !! He not only cleaned them but fixed a part that was ripped. He was super professional and answered quickly when I asked him questions. Definitely going to bring my louboutins shoes soon. The best in town !!!

Tip Top job as usual! — Every time I get my shoes back from Alex and his crew they could go back in a box and sold as new. I don't know which magic wand Alex uses but I want one! Cannot recommend this shoe repair, restoration shop enough. Helpful and goes the extra mile. If I ever move out of Montreal, I would have to come back if only to get my shoes done properly. My girlfriend is completely satisfied with her boots as well ... thanks!

I brought to Alex a pair of boots and two pairs of dress shoes that needed a makeover and some love. He made them brand new. Don’t buy new shoes, bring your old ones to Alex!! Fantastic service.

Alex and his family are careful and exact with their work. Combined with a great positive attitude and professional service, it is difficult to imagine a better local cobbler. Fully bilingual EN/FR.I brought a belt to be shortened and it was almost exactly a factory finish. There was neat stitching that copied the original and reinforcement stitches on the back-side for extra structural integrity. There was no looseness where the leather loop was reattached, and no strange tension or bowing out between the two layers of leather. Nobody would ever suspect it was altered. If I had to be ridiculously picky, I would point out the end of the belt where it was cut wasn’t refinished by burnishing or edge painting, but this wouldn’t be seen by anyone but me. I wholeheartedly recommend them for any work you may have.

Highly recommend this place! My wife stilleto boots had their heels very damaged. They came back just has new. Thanks for saving a pair of boots that were about to be thrown out and give them a second life.
